Players selected to play on the Black team are introduced to the fundamentals of lacrosse at the most basic level. The concepts of elite lacrosse participation are covered and participation at elite tournament events are scheduled albeit at a less-intensive level.
Emphasis is placed on introducing basic elements of the game including positions, field information, offensive and defensive awareness, and basic terminology.
Players are expected to attend all practices and tournaments.
