The Red team is comprised of players who are rising 6th and rising 7th graders. Players selected to play on the Red team receive increased focus and emphasis on individual and position skills / knowledge. Team-based concepts such as transition / rides / clears / breaks are further developed and reinforced and tournament participation is used as the means to assess individual player development.

The structure, discipline, and expectations associated with participating in elite-level lacrosse activities is advanced and players full attendance at practices and tournaments gauge overall progress.

Three-year Fire starter leads high school squad in WFLL

Tampa Bay Fire goalie, Cole Fox, was recently named "Athlete of the Week" by FOXNEWS Prep. As a freshman, Cole, who will be playing on the Fire's Gold team this season, was named the starting goalie for the Jesuit High School team. Right out of the WFLL starting gate, the team had won seven straight games with Cole quickly establishing himself as one of the performance leaders on a Jesuit squad that boasts five Fire players on the roster, three of whom are starters.

Not only is Cole a product of the Tampa Bay Fire's vaunted player development system, he also was developed through the New Tampa Lacrosse Association's leading youth program, where he started in goal on the New Tampa Raiders, a middle school team considered one of the best youth teams in Florida last season.
